Policies
Registration Fee: A $55.00 per-family registration fee is due at the time of registration (non-refundable).
Attendance and Absences:
- Make-up Lessons: Make-up classes are available for absences due to illness, emergencies, or inclement weather.
- Injuries/Prolonged Illnesses: Please contact us for tuition adjustments in cases of injury or extended illness.
- Unattended Classes: Message the group chat through the CDA App if a student will be absent from class.
- Snow Days/Cancellations: Class cancellations due to bad weather will be announced through email message, CDA App message.
Dress Code:
- Girls:
- Must wear proper dance attire.
- Long hair must be tied back and securely fastened.
- Proper shoes are required for each class.
- Tights are optional (except for Ballet Classes)
- Boys:
- May wear a t-shirt, shorts or sweat suits.
- Proper shoes are required for each class.
Specific Class Attire:
- Ballet: Leotards, tights, pink ballet shoes, and securely pulled-back hair. Ballet skirts are optional; no booty shorts. For younger ballerinas, please purchase ballet shoes without drawstrings.
- Tap: Form-fitting dancewear and tap shoes.
- Jazz: Form-fitting dancewear and black or tan jazz shoes.
- Hip Hop: Form-fitting dancewear, leggings, and tennis shoes that are worn exclusively for hip hop.
- Poms: Form-fitting dancewear and tan jazz shoes.
- Acro: Form-fitting clothes

Studio Closures (Vacations): Dance studios will be closed on the following dates:
- Labor Day
- Halloween
- Thanksgiving Break (1 week in November)
- Christmas Break (2 weeks, December-January)
- Spring Break (1 week in March)
Please note: We will NOT close for other holidays, in-service days, or parent-teacher conferences.
Visiting Policy (No Vistors): To ensure students receive the best possible training without distraction, teachers require their complete attention. Therefore, visitors, including parents, are not permitted in the classroom unless prearranged.
Annual Recital: Our annual recital is held the first week in June. Participation is optional, but we encourage all students to take part if possible. More information regarding the recital will be provided throughout the year.
- Expenses: Costume price range from $55.00 to $95.00 per costume & Recital tights price range from $5.00-$10.00.
- Dress Rehearsals are Mandatory for dancers to perform at Recitals, this is for all Levels (Preschool-Level 6).
- Dance Routines performing in both recitals are required to be in attendance at both dress rehearsals.
