Candy’s Dance Academy is dedicated to teaching dance in a positive, fun & creative environment. Not only do we promote dance, but build self-esteem, poise, balance, physical strength and endurance in children.
Founded in 1985 by Fort Morgan, Colorado native Candy Gettman, Candy’s Dance Academy (CDA) has raised generations of dancers and served the Morgan County area for over 40 years. Ownership transitioned to Josh & Heather Horton in 2023, who continue the studio’s legacy. Heather and her talented instructors offer a diverse range of dance training, maintaining a proud tradition of a professional yet “kid-friendly” environment. Our classes are dedicated to developing not only well-rounded dancers but also well-rounded individuals. Josh & Heather along with CDA Staff and Dancers look forward to presenting new, creative recital shows to the community every year in June.
