Class Descriptions

Preschool Combo – Introduction to basic dance forms (tap, ballet, tumbling) using age appropriate music, curriculum, and games. Emphasis on body strengthening, coordination and rhythm. Class appropriate for potty-trained children aged 2 – 4.

  • Kindergarten  Tap/Ballet – Introduction to beginning tap & ballet technique in a fun and positive environment geared toward children aged 5 & 6.
  • Ballet – Highly technical dance form focusing on body placement, grace, strength, and balance.
  • Jazz – Theatrical-type dance style with a ballet based technique inspired by American Jazz music but currently taught and performed to pop music. Less technical than ballet but more technical than Hip Hop.
  • Hip Hop – Funky street dancing style with a jazz based technique.
  • Poms – Unique style of dance that accentuates precise arm movements and technique while learning how to use pom poms. Jazz and Hip Hop are the two styles demonstrated most in Pom routines. Need to be enrolled in a jazz class to take Poms.
  • Tap – Rhythmic dance style creating sounds and rhythms with taps on shoes.
  • Tumbling-Floor based gymnastic movements performed on mats.
